Spot reduction weight loss is a reality with topical applications of the asthma drug aminophylline. This is a dieter's dream come true. Studies back the findings, which increases the spot reduction on the body.

The women in the group using the application have more losses than the men. The fact the experimental group versus the controlled group did not have any differences in the total body weight. The study stated this was due to the redistributed of the fat mass. Based on the findings of the study it was conclude the aminophylline cream application caused the reduction of fat.

The fact the study was funded by a foundation to sell the product is not lost on many weight experts. The fact the application was a cream based product tends to have many believe study used a specialized cream that was formulated specifically for the study and to reduce the risks of rashes in the groups involved with the study.

This does not remove the fact the cream will eventually appear on the market to help with spot reduction of weight for many people. The cream may have only reduced the fluid in the fat cells without actually removing the fat cells as the study indicated.
